Jared Salcedo

Jared’s dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion is rooted in a multifaceted career spanning grassroots activism, human rights advocacy, and management consulting. This unique blend of experiences has equipped him with a deep understanding of the complex issues surrounding equity and the strategic skills needed to drive meaningful change.

 

As a project management consultant, Jared honed his expertise in leading complex initiatives, building consensus, and driving results. His passion for social justice fueled his involvement in various community efforts, including immigrant activism, international human rights, gender, and public policy advocacy.

 

Jared’s academic background reflects his commitment to both rigorous scholarship and practical application. He holds a Master’s in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Project Management. As a Presidential Honors Scholar at New York University (NYU) and a Law Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, he demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and a dedication to public service.

 

In his leadership role with the DEI Committee, Jared is committed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable environment through data-driven strategies, collaborative partnerships, and a deep respect for the diverse perspectives and lived experiences of the Georgetown community. He is dedicated to advancing understanding and awareness of intersectionality and neurodiversity within the broader DEI framework.
