Keisuke Wada

Keisuke Wada is a graduate student at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, specializing in Asian Studies and international relations. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021 with a degree in Political Science. At Berkeley, he conducted research under Professor Steven Vogel, focusing on ESG investment in Asia and representing the Vogel Research Team in a multilateral program on ESG investment. 

Professionally, Keisuke has served as a private secretary for former Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihiko Noda, engaging deeply in Japan-U.S. relations and legislative processes. This role involved meticulous research, effective communication, and organizational skills, providing insight into policy formulation and international diplomacy. He has also worked as a research assistant at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA, analyzing cyber security alliances between Japan and the U.S. Additionally, his experience at JETRO San Francisco and research under Professor Steven Vogel have enhanced his understanding of geopolitical dynamics and international trade policies, including the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF).

He will be working as Co-director of the Elections & Recruitment Committee for Georgetown Graduate Government.
