Andrew Volz

Andrew Volz is a 1st year Master of Science in Epidemiology candidate at Georgetown University, concentrating in Social and Behavioral Determinants of Health. He serves as the Deputy director for Health, Wellness, and Safety Committee, as well as a Senator for Georgetown GradGov and is a part of the Advocacy Branch.

Andrew received his undergraduate from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Biology. Before attending Georgetown University, Andrew served as Undergraduate Vice President of the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina, with the primary focus of pushing for mental health rights at the Institutional Level.

Andrew worked as a research analyst for the Latin Studies Unit at the Arnold School of Public Health as well, primarily focusing on COVID-19 vaccination rates among the Latin community in South Carolina. Andrew also served as the President of Exercise Science Club, serving 400+ members in planning and executing philanthropy events and meetings that represented the student body apart of the club.
