Charlie Carita, Grad Gov’s Deputy Director of the Fundraising Committee, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore where he double majored in accounting and finance.
Upon graduation, he became a CPA in the state of New York and accepted his first job in KPMG’s assurance practice, specifically auditing large private equity funds.
In 2019, he left KPMG and accepted his current position as an Assistant Fund Controller at Clarion Partners, one of the US’ largest real estate investment managers.
Earlier this year, Charlie began pursuing his Master’s in Real Estate at Georgetown University.
