Heejin Jeon is a second year in the Master of Science in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Leader program. She is the Director of Health, Wellness, and Safety in GradGov for the academic year of 2023-2024. Georgetown University’s School of Nursing’s value of “Cura Personalis,” or “caring for the whole person by giving personalized attention to individuals’ unique needs and circumstances,” resonates with her outlook on celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and respect in the graduate community.
She is passionate about advocating for change in healthcare policy and serving minority and underserved populations. Before Georgetown, she graduated with an Applied Linguistics degree from UMBC and has lived in Kenya and South Korea.
