I’m Micaila, a PhD candidate in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program. I’m very interested in biomedical research focused on cancer and human health, but realized that I’m also passionate about the intersection of policy and science. After many years of experience in student government and organizations, getting involved with GradGov was a natural progression for me. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities and friendships that GradGov has provided me over the years and I’m excited to see what our administration can accomplish during the 2023-2034 academic year.
