Semoni Weaver is an ambitious, detail-oriented journalist who attended undergraduate school at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Born in Richmond, Virginia, she considers herself a bit of a “nomad.” Having recently relocated to Washington, DC, Semoni is now a graduate student at Georgetown University in the Public Relations and Corporate
Communications program.
At Marshall, Semoni obtained a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism, with a minor inSpanish. She was a four-year member of Marshall University’s Student Government Association and held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Administration for the Delta Zeta, Delta Upsilon Chapter, Secretary of Alumni Engagement for Marshall University’s student body,
and Miss Marshall (Homecoming Queen). In her spare time, Semoni enjoys watching sports,
volunteering, and traveling.
