President, Keaton Ballard
Keaton Ballard is a full-time graduate student, leader, and marketing and communications professional. She earned her B.A. in Digital Media Design, cum laude, from Florida Gulf Coast University’s Honors College and is pursuing a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications at Georgetown University. She currently works as a Marketing Campaigns and Events Intern for the Public Sector Marketing team at Cloudflare. Beyond the classroom, Keaton has been a consistent presence in Georgetown University’s graduate community, serving as digital media editor, senator, secretary, and executive vice president before being elected President of Georgetown University’s Graduate Student Government for the 2026-2027 term. In her free time, she channels her creativity through poetry and photography, and her photography has been exhibited at the Arlington Center for the Arts in Arlington, VA.

Secretary, Joseph Wang
Joseph Wang is a PhD student in Georgetown University’s Pharmacology and Physiology department, specializing in de novo protein design for treating neurodegenerative diseases. Joseph serves as the Secretary to the GradGov President and Vice President. He is committed to helping graduate students achieve their agendas and maintaining consistent leadership within GradGov. He is specifically interested in helping bring together students and professionals in the D.C. area to help them build a strong network. He aims to promote a supportive community where every student has access to the tools necessary to pursue their ambitions.

Director of Advocacy, Michael Brown
Mike Brown serves as the Executive Director of the Advocacy Branch within Grad Gov, where he works along with Grad Gov leadership, student representatives, and faculty, to amplify student voices and advance critical initiatives supporting Georgetown’s graduate community. He is also the sitting Senator for the Project Management program and is pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Information Technology Management. Mike has been actively involved in volunteer and community service efforts, helping connect students with opportunities for engagement and service, and serving the DC community at large through volunteer organizations. Drawing on four years of professional management experience, he brings a collaborative leadership style, strategic perspective, and strong commitment to advocacy, service, and student success.
